CV (Eng)

Translation and Transcreation

I have two MA (60 credits each) in Comparative Literature and Translation and an MFA (60 credits) in Literary Translation. Besides my education, I’ve also experience as a content writer, journalist, critic, proofreader, and from the book publishing business, I’m now self-employed and look for clients and partners in translation, transcreation and copy writing.

Besides being a translator, I also work as a yoga teacher.

Education

Master of Fine Arts in Literary Translation, 60 credits, Gothenburg University, 2020

The programme focuses mostly on discussing and understanding the process behind literary translation. My thesis ”Översättare och/eller kritiker – en diskussion om översättningskritik ur en (tu)delad synvinkel” discussed translation criticism in Scandinavia today, from my point of view as both a translator and critic.

Master of Arts in Translation (French-Swedish), 60 credits, Linnaeus University, 2017

My thesis ”Les Maux de Traduction – Le marketing de contenu des antidouleurs en traduction : une approche fonctionnaliste” studied how to translate content marketing, the relation between terminology and SEO, and the language of painkillers. When I did my Bachelor’s degree in French, I also studied abroad for a year, at the Université Lumière Lyon 2, concentrating on French literature.

Master of Arts in Comparative Literature, 60 credits, Gothenburg University, 2013

With my thesis ”In an alternate universe – imitation and alteration in alternate universe fan fiction based on the Twilight Saga”, I studied fan fiction and intertextuality. I’ve also studied the intertextuality of drama and contemporary literature on a Bachelor level, and had an article published in an anthology on the future of the humanities.
